Experts have found a drug that can increase women's sexual desire instantly.

Suara.com - Women who have low sexual arousal now need not worry, because experts have found a drug to improve it.

Launching Insider , there are two drugs that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administrator (FDA) on Friday (6/21/2019) then to increase sexual desire of a woman .

This drug called Vyleesi is used by premenopausal women with disorders such as a continuous lack of interest in sexual intercourse, and this condition can cause stress.

Use of this drug is injected into the thighs or abdomen to increase sexual interest for several hours.

"The advantage of this new drug is that women only use it when they need it," Dr. Julia Johnson, a reproductive specialist at UMass Memorial Medical Center.illustration of a female arousal enhancer drug (Shutterstock)

But this drug also has drawbacks, namely injections and possibly makes some women irritable. While other side effects are making nausea.

However this agreement was also based on women's responses to questionnaires that showed increased sexual desire and decreased stress related to sex. Women don't report having more sex, the original goal for the drug.

"Women don't want more sex. They want better sex," Dr. Julie Krop, chief medical officer Amag Pharmaceuticals.

Vyleesi acts on receptors for brain stimulating hormones called melanocortin, which are associated with sexual arousal and appetite in men and women.

Amag, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, plans to give the drug to consumers via social media, including a website called unblush.com that tells women that low sex drive "is not to blame."

But not all experts fully agree with this drug.

Johnson from UMass said drugs should not be the first choice for treating female sexual problems. Instead, he recommends counseling to help them "separate all life stresses" from their sex lives.

"But if it doesn't work, taking drugs that can help is worth a try," he said.
