Pastille Shampoo

Hi guys!
Today I came to talk about a new kind of solid shampoo ... the "Pastille Shampoo" !!
Pastille Shampoo is a "concentrate" of herbs and natural actives.
But Erika, what is the difference between this Shampoo tablet and the bar shampoo?
Ok, here I explain ...
First, you need to know that all shampoos and bar soaps are produced by a chemical reaction between a fat and an alkali (alkaline material), a process called  SAPONIFICATION .
The alkali used in shampoos and bar soapsis sodium hydroxide, better known as "caustic soda".
In liquid soaps, the alkali used is potassium hydroxide - known as "potash".
The use of sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, or any other alkaline base, is indispensable for the production of any kind of soap. Therefore, ALL shampoos and bar soaps , without exception , are produced with sodium hydroxide.
Alkali is mixed with water to form bleach, which when blended with fat (oils) will be responsible for saponification.
So Erika, are you saying that I use caustic soda on my hair and my corpitcho?
Nooooo !!!! Calmaaaaa !!!

You don't have to worry about caustic soda in shampoo / soap!

Making an "analogy" of soda with hydrogen:
Pure hydrogen is a highly flammable fuel; but when combined with oxygen, it forms water! And that's not why you get burns or explode when you drink water, don't you?
With soda is similar ... one thing is pure soda, and another thing is after the saponification process!
Thus, one cannot evaluate a component in isolation, but in the whole chemical process that is involved.
So you don't have to worry about the soda that was used to saponify fats, because at the end of the process, it will be neutralized, and the result of this Saponification process is: SOAP + GLYCERIN.

So you should be concerned about other chemicals such as BHT, BHA, PEG's, EDTA, FORMALDEHYDES, AND OIL DERIVATIVES contained in industrial soaps, as these will be harmful to your health. "
Now that you understand the saponification process, I can explain to you the difference between Bar Shampoo and Tablet Shampoo ...

 Bar Shampoo:

Shampoo in Barra

> Bar Shampoo is produced by "Cold Process", which is a process of cold saponification , that is, it is not necessary to prepare it in fire;
Through the cold process, we can produce natural shampoos and soaps with therapeutic properties through the use of natural medicinal raw materials such as vegetable oils, essential oils, extracts, clays, and a multitude of healthy and beneficial skin and hair additives.
Cold Process Shampoos and Soaps have abundant foam, deeply cleanses and moisturizes the skin, keeping it soft and healthy.
The surfactant (cleaning agent / foaming agent) present in this type of shampoo is a natural surfactant, derived from the fatty acids of vegetable oils, such as coconut, palm, palm kernel, castor, olive, etc.

Tablet Shampoo:

Herbal Shampoo

make here
> Pastille Shampoo does not undergo saponification process.
Its cleansing agent is a synthetic and safe surfactant derived from coconut oil.
The surfactant we use for the production of this Lozenge Shampoo is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI)  which is a mild, health-free surfactant widely used in shampoos and other sulfate free products and baby products.
According to the table EWG , it is considered N Level 1 . See more details here .
SCI is added to natural actives such as Indian Herbs, Clays, Vegetable Oils, Essential Oils, Plant Extracts, Hydrolyzed Proteins, etc.concentrated and consistent, thus giving rise to shampoo tablets.

SHAMPOO BAR X SHAMPOO PADS:

Well, when it comes to "hair" we can not "generalize" results, because as we say: "each hair, one sentence" rs
I have clients who have had a great ease of adaptation to the shampoos bar, from the first day of I use ... others, have taken a few months (like me); and others did not adapt at all to the shampoo bar ... and sad, gave up !!
From all the feedback I've had from customers all this time working with bar shampoos (almost 5 years), I can say that the percentage of people who don't adapt to bar shampoo at all is very low. , turning around 5%.
And it was thinking about those people who longed to treat their hair with a healthy natural solid shampoo but who were frustrated with their results, that I decided to research how to produce a solid shampoo with a "natural footprint" but no problem. of adaptation like shampoo bar .... and that's when I came to the production of Shampoo Pastilha !! ;) \ 0 /
From my experience: It took me a few months to adapt to the natural bar shampoo, but in compensation after I got used to it, I didn't want to know anything else! I use it for years! A few months ago I have been only using the Tablet ... Shampoo and confess:'re very difficult to know what I like most .... In
short the difference ...

As for adaptation:
> Pastilha Shampoo has a lower pH, which makes it more "conditioning" and more tolerable for all hair types, providing faster adaptation than shampoo bar.

Concentration:
> Pastille Shampoo is much more concentrated than Bar Shampoo.
In this case, for people with very sensitive scalp, "maybe" bar shampoo is more appropriate.

Durability:
> Lozenge Shampoo tends to outlast shampoo shampoo (around 80 washes - of course this will depend on the size of the hair, and how it is used).
As for the sensory :
> Pastille Shampoo has a "rougher" feel due to its base of herbs and clays. Bar shampoo, on the other hand, has a smoother sensory and is more pleasant to use on the body as soap.

As for the price :
> Pastilha Shampoo is more expensive than Barra Shampoo, because its main raw material (SCI) is imported and its cost is expensive.

What they have in common:
> Both are made with healthy raw materials and free of harmful components.
> Both are biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
> Both are practical to take on the trip, gym, etc.
> Both have good durability.
> Both are suitable for all hair types and have many benefits for hair treatments.
> The way to use is the same for both: With very wet hair, rub the bar / tablet on the head until it has enough foam. Massage for a few minutes and then rinse well. If you think there is a need, you can repeat the application.

Conclusion:

The Shampoo Tablet is a great alternative for people who want a practical and healthy shampoo, but that can not adapt to the shampoo in bar!
And those who already use and like the shampoo bar, surely love the tablet too !!
